# Sending data to beestat

Right now, the beestat only shows the thermostat side, calling for heat. Having a single stage boiler, I would like to keep track when the boiler turns on and off. I have ESP Home sending this information to node-RED but I wish I could see this data within beestat. Of course it does not even need to be MQTT, ESP32 could be programmed to use beestat API instead, if it existed.

For now, I think the next best option for me will be to rig an ecobee door sensor to send open/close stats when boiler is on/off (if I find one cheap).
