Hello, I am new to Beestat but not Ecobee. I have 2 homes with 2 thermostats each (all 4 thermostats show up in Beestat). The first home has had Ecobee’s since 2017. In this home the thermostat in the house shows a years worth of data but no profiles. The thermostat in the garage (heat only) does show a profile based on the last year. The thermostats in the second home are newly installed (last month). The downstairs thermostat doesn’t show a profile. The upstairs does show a profile but with only a resist line. I am mostly wondering why my first home with a years data doesn’t show any profile?
Hey - Did you by chance have all the homes listed at the same address in ecobee until just recently? I regenerated your profile and it looks like everything came up as expected. Having everything at the same address is the only reason I can think of that would cause that. Or possibly having a bunch of duplicate data or something on a different thermostat.
Thanks Jon! Appreciate the help. I did add the two new thermostats last month to my new 2nd home. It’s possible that it used my other homes address initially before I got in there and setup the 2nd home address and details but I don’t recall exactly. I do recall changing the address on my first home as well since I had never set it up with an actual address just a city zip. I look forward to learning more about my system from your awesome app. This new home has me looking into energy cost. I never really worried about it with my current home since we have the 2nd lowest power rate in the county. It’s way easier when electric power is super cheap. ![]()
