Been several days now that the app is stuck on the rings when opening. I’ve tried clearing cache & clearing data. I know Ecobee had some historical data retrieval issue around the same time that this began.
It is now back up. 
There was a high number of users creating some excessive load. I increased the server capacity for a bit to help.
