Ecobee sees AUX use, but Beestat doesn't

I have 9 different ecobee thermostats in my account, several of which control heat pumps that have electric coil AUX backup heat. On one of them the ecobee shows the red flame and tracks the AUX usage, but Beestat doesn’t see this as AUX usage for some reason? On the other heat pump systems beestat correctly tracks and shows AUX usage.

I don’t understand why this is happening in beestat, and I think it formerly tracked and showed AUX heat usage on this very thermostat. The ecobee wiring has not been changed, and obviously the ecobee is able to call for and track AUX heat when it decides to.

Is there something I can do to enable this AUX usage to show correctly in Beestat again? Thanks!

Serial number is 521729395643, in case this is something that requires a specific look. Thanks!

And here’s a picture of beestat showing the AUX usage in the upper left tile and an alert in the upper right, but below in the timeline there is no sign of it. Weird!

It’s there, but the way your system type is configured it’s not getting treated like aux. On the Compare tab, click the three dots on the My Home card and make sure everything is configured properly.

If you truly don’t have aux heat, then your ecobee isn’t aware of that and is calling for it but it wouldn’t really be doing anything except shorting power to an unconnected wire.

You’re so brilliant, @ziebelje !! I’d never have spotted that. Many thanks!
