I just started using beestat in the hope I could get some visualization of runtime data for the same month across multiple years. The demo seems to show exactly what I want to see but when I connected my account, the time range seems to be limited to 1 year. I’m not looking for any high resolution data, month level is more than enough. Is this possible with beestat?
It is, but your thermostat has to be connected for a long time. Ecobee purges high resolution data after roughly a year just like beestat. The difference is that prior to purging the data, beestat aggregates it into daily sums and stores it forever. Ecobee does not.
When you connect your thermostat to beestat it downloads the past year of runtime data from ecobee. Getting more than that is just a waiting game.
