My heat pump ran for 6 hours overnight and the house never heated up. Upon further investigation it turned out my compressor never came on. I knew how long the outage was for because of this app. The HVAC tech came and diagnosed it as a bad circuit board but the system still wouldn’t kick on. The secondary issue was that the Ecobee seemed to have gone bad as well. He speculated we got a power surge.
Long story short I needed a new thermostat and the new Ecobee from the power company just came. I installed it but all my old data is gone. Anyway I can get it back?
