With that said I recently had insulation work down in my house because of the summertime issues and not being able to hit setpoint upstairs. We air sealed everything and had foamboards etc. I wanted to download and plot all of the data to figure out if there were efficiency gains but I have it readily available here. Bravo!
From the analyze tab (bottom visual for temp resist vs outside temp charts - which is the holy grail here!) I was able to CONFIRM that humidity was driving the inability to hit setpoint upstairs - and the rim joist and attic-plane sealing will hopefully have solved that (have to wait until summer time to really confirm). I want to now plot humidity across all rooms (including a crawl space which we added a vapor barrier to) but that would require integration with something like Govee smart hygrometers since Ecobee sensors do not track humidity (only the thermostat). Govee also doesn’t sell any kind of humidity sensors.
I am requesting that you pick at least one smart humidity sensor that has an API you can connect through - allowing users to drop in humidity data across all rooms (currrently only the thermostats detect humidity but not the room sensors).
This would be absolutely vital to the thermodynamics of my house - and possibly a lot of others who need to track humidity at a room level.
