Summary chart july-jun yearly (seasonal) group

For trending yearly heating demand, it would be nice to add an option for grouping july-jun VS Jan-Dec. Regardless of the selected period, grouping by year will currently report the total Jan-Dec demand.

This is a nice idea. I would probably accomplish this by allowing you to specify the starting hour/day/week/month when grouping by day/month/week/year respectively.

I remember discussing this a while back - I’d like to move the date range from the Settings page to the main header (happy to start the work on this)
And then… allowing for date ranges (or just picking a single “split” – so T0:T1, T1:T2) and comparing the graphs. This is helpful to compare the metrics before and after that time T1.

Any changes to the custom range selector would need to go in this dialog. The compare to time period probably also needs it’s own thing as well as that’s not a feature tied to Custom Range.

Definitely something that would be useful to have, though.
