Thermostat went offline after a power blip. Didn’t notice it was off until the next evening. Reviewing my usage and noticed the Summary graph was showing 15 hours of usage for the 23rd, even though it was offline until almost 6PM. When I checked the Thermostat Detail graph, it doesn’t show any recorded data.
What if you disable gap fill in the bar chart?
My guess is the A/C was running before and after the outage, so Beestat’s gap fill algorithm interpolated that to “running the whole time.”

Ecobee since replaced the thermostat so I can’t check that specifically but it did make a difference on some of the data with the new one. Thanks for pointing out that option, I hadn’t really paid attention to it before.
