Beestat sync issues 12/18

My app isn’t updating for the last hour and thermostat detail section is continuously syncing.

Not working for me either. Last reading was over 4 hours ago.

It looks that way. I noticed this morning that it hadn’t updated since last night. I couldn’t force an update or log out. The only way I was able to get an update was to uninstall/reinstall the app and reregister with ecobee. That only worked once, now I’m getting a time out error. Perhaps they’re having another Cloudflare issue?

Mine updated 9:55 am. Just over 4 hours ago.

Just logged out. Kept timing out so I opened a new tab and re-logged in. Two of my three thermostats connected right away, the third one took some time, but all are showing now.

Mine still takes forever to load … says last update at 6:49AM and sync is spinning. Ecobee chat said they are not reporting any issues with 3rd party but clearing something is amiss.
The Ecobee app itself is working.

As of 4:30pm app takes about a minute and a half to load then shows the temperature from 6:49AM and sync just spins. Not sure anyone else continues to have this issue.

I deleted the app and redownloaded it and connected it to me ecobee. It was able to update data as of then, but is still doing the same thing: no updates, continuously syncing.

Thanks for reaching out. Beestat had some technical issues earlier that I believe were caused simply because of too many users. I’ve increased capacity and things are more stable now. You may need to reconnect your ecobee account to beestat. If you’re having trouble, the easiest way to do that is just to go to https://app.beestat.io in a private browsing window and logging in. If you’re using the app, clear the app cache on your device and log back in. That will re-establish a connection and get things syncing again.

I’ll be monitoring performance and working on any additional upgrades that need done. Thanks for your patience!

Looks like it’s back up and working properly now.

Spoke too soon…

I just cleared the apps cache and reconnected the stat to the app and it’s still not syncing. Last sync was at 9:30am et.

If you share your thermostat serial number I can take a look and see what the error is for you.

Thanks, looks like it’s now syncing. Tried going back in again and it synced.

Update: Deleted and re-installed iphone beestat app. Logged back into ecobee and everything is back up and running. But then stopped updating again about an hour later.

Lost it again at 4:33. Still not updating

Still broken for me at 5:54pm PST. No updates to thermostat data since 10:18pm yesterday. Can see the thermostat fine in the ecobee app… logging in to app.beestat.io via a private window also doesn’t update anything.

Edit: deleting the app from my phone and reinstalling seemed to work. Not sure if it was just timing-based or actually establishing a new connection, but it’s up and running again for me.

Mine is no longer syncing again.

Me to. Not syncing or updating. Last update 8:46PM EST. Sync just spinning now.

Deleted app and re signed in. Still - Last data 6:38am Central time on 18 Dec

Edit - working normally 10:52 pm central

Edit 2 - it’s 0247 Central. Last data was 11:10 pm so broken again.

Noticed this today, finally had to a chance to jump over here. Last update for me is 7:49am central. I had reconnected a few mins ago and still no dice.

Edit: Nevermind-it is working now. Had to fully close out the app (Android).
